Lord of the flies

I have choose to read the book "Lord of the flies" beacuase this was the book I thought would be most entertaining to read. Actual I wanted to read "The secret life of bees" first. But since it took so long time to get it and that I've had to pay for it, I choose Lord of the flies.

I have read the two first chapthers in the book. So far I think it is a good book, I think that it was mabye a little bit slow in the beginning, but it got better.
So far in the book the British schoolboys have found each other on this desert Island after their plane crashed. The first two boys we get to meet are Ralph and the overweight boy who is called "Piggy" because this was his nickname.
There are no adult survivors, only the kids.
They had to vote for a chief for the group, one who could have the responsebility. Both Ralph and Jack where two boys who would like to have the control and be the one in charge. After everyone hade used their vote it was Ralph that got the most of them. But Jack was going to be chief for the choir, beacause he was the leader for them before they ended up at this place. Jack decided the choir to be the hunters of the group.

After the kids hade chosen a headman they decided to climb to the top of the mountian. Where they could make a fire, so when someone passed by with a boat or a plane they would see the smoke for the fire.
Now I haven't read any longer.
So now I will continue reading and see how it goes with the boys.
