Before I post my final post, I just feel like have to post something about the end of the book. I have to say, the books ending suprised me ALOT! That Lily actually killed her mother, suprise me alot! I was sure that it might be T Ray or suidide!
That Lily actually shot her mom, changes my view on things alot. I feel so sorry for her and T Ray because of the terrible accident!
Anyone, else that was suprised by this?

I understand your feelings, but honestly I didn't feel that way. In the beginning of the book, I could not understand that Lilly killed her mom, I didn't want to realize it (just like Lilly). But after reading more in the book, and seeing how Lilly healed over time in Tiburon - I guess the fact that she accepted it herself, made me accept it more myself. But yeah, it sucks.. It was an accident that happend when she was 4 years old.

SvarSlettI was really surprised by this too! I mean, the fact that Lily actualy shot her mom just changes my views a bit. The burden that Lily has been carrying since her mothers death, that little hope that she might not have shot her mom just went out. Lily know knows the truth, and there is no way around it. But I think its good for her to know, at least no she has a chance to ease up to it. Lily knows the story, and by knowing it, she knows her mother a bit, and while learning it, she got to know herself.
SvarSlettHer whole life, Lily has thought that she was the one who killed her mother. She hasn't been 100% sure, but that was what she believed. I think it's good in a way, that she now knows it was her. She can finally have "closure".
